Euro Charters

[Initial stage of development]

This page is to be developed as a source of information and guidance about charters from all over the medieval world, with links to various websites giving access to texts and facsimiles.  The idea is that this page should soon lead to separate pages for the charters of Anglo-Saxon England, the Merovingians and Carolingians, the Capetians, the Ottonians, the Salians, the Iberian peninsula, the papacy, and so on. Anyone wishing to participate in the development of this resource is invited to make contact with 'Kemble'.
